We begin tonight with a long, violent holiday weekend: sixteen people shot in Boston in four days. All the shootings were non-fatal. These include the shooting late Friday night in Roxbury, where six people were injured, three men and three women. A top administrator who paved the way for transitions in Boston's public housing is retiring. Bill McGonagle has been in charge of the Boston Housing Authority for the past ten years, after starting with the agency forty years ago. This morning in Charlestown, near the U-S-S Constitution, officials outlined plans for celebrating a milestone in Massachusetts history.
