Unity and pride set the tone yesterday in Roxbury. That was the message in the second annual Roxbury Unity parade and celebration. Setting out from Madison Park Technical and Vocational High School, the parade went near Dudley Square and then down Washington Street to Malcolm X Park. Leaders in the state legislature have reached agreement over a new budget, with more money for education. According to the Boston Globe, earlier budget totals would be increased by more than three hundred million dollars. Business groups and nonprofit advocates are calling for changes in the city's regulations for lobbyists.
