We begin tonight with a new push for consolidation in health care, this time from nonprofit insurers. After months of talks, Harvard Pilgrim and Tufts Health Plan will see approval for a merger. After years of designing and fundraising, a nonprofit developer's giving up on plans to build a recreation center in Roxbury's Jackson Square. In a statement last week, Urban Edge said the decision was due to the rising costs of development and operations. In roxbury this morning, a ribbon-cutting took place for the first two buildings in the mixed-income development known as Bartlett Station. It's named for the old bus yard a few blocks from Dudley Square. When the development's completed, there will be almost two hundred apartments and more than one hundred units for homeowners.
